IFA Berlin 100 years
In 2024, the world's largest consumer electronics show in Berlin celebrates its 100th anniversary. In collaboration with Monomando Studio, we created a huge amount of content for the show week, in addition a distinctive video that reflects on IFA's centennial voyage.
Concept
To celebrate the centenary of the world famous IFA innovation exhibition, we took their newly revamped corporate identity designed by Creative Director Ole Tillmann together with Highsnobiety and brought it to life as an an ambitious multi-stage A/V presentation and film.
100 Years Film
The centrepiece of the exhibition was the “100 Years” film. This focussed on the IFA tagline “Innovation For All” and the technological milestones that have been presented there over the past 10 years, beginning with the first radio broadcast and finishing with the theme of digital futures.
Bringing stage design to "live"
To elevate the live brand presentations, we brought the IFA identity to life with an extensive suite of motion packaging, such as: intros, outros, lower thirds as well as for the stage directors' schedules.
Sonic Identity
We designed an entirely new and vibrant sonic identity to signpost a new era of the IFA. Dynamic animation and bold statements interspersing the images are rhythmically cut and edited for a vibrant and contemporary effect to reflect the fast pace of innovation. Quotes from the original audio featuring public speeches by Einstein and Willy Brandt and pivotal moments in modern history are integrated into the sound.
Media Server
All content was delivered to producers via our media server which was presented on the screen and live streamed. We also oversaw all camera operations, the live broadcast, the streaming services and the entire sonic identity.
